University of Central Florida is a huge school that offers over 1000s of courses. Each year, students struggle to pick the right courses in order to maintain a good GPA. We have decided to compile a list of courses that could make your life easier. Here is a list of the easiest classes at UCF.
1. THE 2000 – Theatre Survey
A survey of theatre as art, as entertainment, and as cultural identifier. By the end of the course, students will have a basic knowledge of theatre and will know how to explain and analyze a performance experience. The only real effort in this class is to go see the play and write a review about it.
2. FIL 2030 – History of Motion Pictures
This class introduces you to the history of motion pictures as art and industry; from 1895 to the present. This is considered one of the easiest classes at UCF. This course can only be taken online for those that don’t want to go to class.
3. COM 1000 – Introduction to Communication
This is a survey course introducing students to theory, research, and practical principles associated with human communication in interpersonal, public, and professional contexts.
4. PEL 2111 – Bowling
This class goes over the fundamentals of bowling techniques and the development of skills based on those fundamentals.
5. SLS 1501 – Strategies for Success in College
Assist student transition to the University by developing important academic, life, and study skills that promote student success and persistence through first year and beyond.
6. PEM 2122 – Yoga for Performers
The practice and study of Yoga, including postures, breathing and meditation, focusing on the needs of performers
7. PHI 2010 – Introduction to Philosophy
This course will introduce variously constructed life philosophies, notions of the “good life,” and questions of truth, reality, belief, meaning, and value in premodern, modern, and postmodern philosophical contexts.
8. HUM 2020 – Encountering the Humanities
This course is an introduction to humanities ideas, research methods, and approaches to scholarship and creative work. Students will be introduced to diverse tools and approaches for critically examining intellectual, cultural, and creative human expression.
9. ANT 2000 – General Anthropology
An introductory survey class of the four major subfields of anthropology: Social Anthropology, Physical Anthropology, Linguistics, and Archaeology.
10. PSY 2012 – General Psychology
A survey class of the basic principles, theories, and methods of contemporary psychology, including the study of human diversity.
